Senior Scientist – LNP & mRNA Drug Delivery

About the Role:

MetaboCure is seeking an experienced scientist to join our R&D team and lead novel Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) formulation and mRNA drug delivery development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, formulate, and optimize novel LNPs and mRNA constructs for targeted therapy.

• Plan and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments, including bio-distribution and characterization assays.

• Analyze complex data and advance programs from concept to preclinical stage.

Requirements:

• Education: Ph.D. or M.Sc. (Graduated with honors) in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

• Experience: Hands-on expertise in LNP formulation, mRNA design, and experimental design.

• Mindset: Strong problem-solver, innovative, and thriving in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Research Associate

About the Role:

MetaboCure is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join our R&D team. In this role, you will support wet-lab operations, assist in LNP formulation preparation, and execute biological assays.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and characterizing lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations and mRNA constructs.

• Perform routine analytical assays, cell-culture work, and sample preparation.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and meticulous experimental records.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.

• Experience: Hands-on wet-lab experience with standard molecular biology and biochemical protocols. Experience with nanoparticle/RNA platforms is a plus.

• Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thriving in a collaborative team environment.
